Longfellow Benefits names five new principals

Longfellow Benefits, a Boston-based employee benefits consulting and brokerage firm, has appointed Patrick Haraden, John Flaherty, Kevin Ryan, David Boucher, and Kendall Storch as new principals. Previously, they were all senior vice presidents with the firm.

Haraden, Flaherty and Ryan specialize in employee benefit plan management and provide consultation in the areas of compliance, financial analysis, funding-method evaluation, communication, and strategy and design, as well as in specialty areas such as group purchasing.

They assist their clients in containing costs by capitalizing on the latest market trends and innovations, with the goal of improving the overall employee benefits experience for employers and employees.

The consulting firm said both Boucher and Storch are experts in qualified retirement plan management, including 401(k), 403(b), and defined benefit plans and they provide consultation in the areas of strategy, operations, compliance and overall plan management to help employers boost participation, meet their fiduciary obligations, and educate their employees about financial wellness.

Longfellow managing principal Joseph Gray said as principals, they represent a new generation of leadership as the company continue to grow and expand into new markets.
