Kwik Fit’ Car Insurance Sales Up 31%

Home insurance sales increases 23% in May, as compared to the corresponding period last year.

UK-based insurance intermediary Kwik Fit Insurance Services, a part of the Kwik Fit Group, has reported an increase in sales of car insurance by 31% in May 2009, as compared to the corresponding period last year.

Uddingston-based intermediary sales of new car insurance policies increased 31%, in comparison to the same period last year. Home insurance sales continue to increase with 4,000 new policies taken out, an increase of 23% compared to last year.

Brendan Devine, Managing Director, Kwik Fit Financial Services, said: “We’re delighted to report a steady rise in the sale of new home and car insurance policies over the last 12 months. As a business we are focused on delivering ongoing value to our customers through ensuring our products remain as competitive as possible. This strategy is proving successful – as May’s figures reflect.”
