John Hancock Financial, a unit of Manulife Financial, has introduced a new web-based long-term care (LTC) insurance sale system to help financial professionals improve customer experience and expand sales opportunities.
Dubbed LTC Captivate, the new product enables customers to learn about the coverage, select plan features, and apply online, at their convenience, besides helping professionals to monitor their progress to address questions or resolve issues.
The tool also provides a robust educational component, along with modular content and functionality that will support face-to-face and remote selling scenarios, by removing logistical barriers from potential sales opportunities.
John Hancock Insurance Marketing vice president Laura Vail Wooster said the system has been designed to help customers learn about LTC insurance, while having the ability to consult with their financial advisor, either in person or online.
LTC Captivate also includes features, "straight-through" electronic processing to facilitate proper application completion and submissions, while lowering the delays and expenses associated with paper applications.
