ingenie selects SAS Office Analytics to enhance pricing and marketing accuracy

ingenie, the car insurer for young drivers, has selected SAS Office Analytics to help in better understanding of risk among young drivers.

The SAS Office Analytics will enhance ingenie’s use of telematics data and deliver behavior-based pricing and marketing programs to its customers.

In order to enhance customer pricing accuracy and insurance premiums, ingenie will also use the technology to analyze huge volumes of data on driving behaviors and patterns.

ingenie founder and CEO Richard King said that the telematics box gathers data to educate young drivers to make better, safer decisions on the road and get a fairer price for their insurance with most accurate information.

SAS UK & Ireland managing director Mark Wilkinson said, "By applying analytics to its data to better understand customer profiles, SAS is delighted to be supporting ingenie in rewarding new, young drivers who sensibly observe the rules of the road."

Besides increasing awareness of telematics, SAS analytics will enable ingenie to deliver cheaper insurance premiums, and encourage safer driving among young people.
