Automotive insurance firm Esurance has announced that its customers can now keep track of car repairs online, thanks to See Progress' AutoWatch, a web-enabled system that allows customers to monitor their vehicle's progress throughout the repair process.
Esurance, which is a subsidiary of White Mountains Insurance Group, said that its technology-savvy customer base should appreciate the new feature, which lets consumers view digital photos of their vehicles throughout the repair process.
The insurer has cited convenience and added peace of mind as key benefits of the AutoWatch system, pointing out that it enables customers to monitor the progress of car repairs 24/7, and with less hassle than having to contact the garage.
The new system from See Progress will also complement Esurance’s online focus and 24/7 customer service offering.
When you have an accident, you just want your car repaired as quickly as possible. Most people don’t like having to call the body shop to find out when a car’s ready. With AutoWatch, our customers will be able to see progress throughout the repair process, commented Gary Tolman, Esurance president & CEO. Our mission is to make the entire auto insurance experience easier, from quote to claim, and AutoWatch helps us fulfill that mission.
