Elephant Insurance, a US direct-to-consumer automobile insurance company, has teamed up with AccuQuote, an expert in life insurance, to expand its policy offerings to include life insurance.
Elephant believes that the addition of life insurance policies will allow it to offer more comprehensive and convenient coverage for new and existing customers.

Beginning 15 May 2014, Elephant will start proving life insurance offering to consumers. Leveraging the Elephant/AccuQuote partnership, customers can bundle auto and life insurance policies, making coverage more affordable through bundling discounts.
Along with the added convenience and affordability, the partnership with AccuQuote provides Elephant customers with access to licensed life insurance specialists who will work with them to tailor a solution to best meet their needs.
The insurance firm noted that it will continue to deliver its promise of "more care, less cost" by delivering personalized customer service, new discounts and increased convenience.
