CNA Canada has rolled out its latest oneworld Manufacturing package policy, a product specifically designed for the manufacturing industry.
The new insurance product features product recall with loss of profits, manufacturer’s E&O, contingent business interruption, and coverage for research and development activities, among others.
CNA Canada president and COO Gary Owcar said, "Manufacturers today face many different types and levels of risk, like product recalls, supply chain risks and third party exposures due to increased outsourcing.
"Our oneworld Manufacturing policy was designed to provide the most comprehensive international commercial insurance coverage possible to help meet the evolving risks of the manufacturing industry."
The CNA oneworld manufacturing package provides insurance solutions for various manufacturers such as metal, commercial and industrial machinery, electric equipment and appliances, technology, food processors, plastic and rubber, non-hazardous chemical manufacturers, finished wood products, minerals (concrete, stone, glass, clay) and paper and printing.
The company said that the new policy is available across Canada through CNA offices located in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg.
