Luxembourg-based alternative fund manager, Carlisle Management has hired Victor Heggelman as the new CFO with effect from September 2011.
Prior to CFO, Heggelman has served the company as finance manager for two years. He worked at Morgan Stanley to oversee Real Estate investment portfolios.
Heggelman also has experience as an audit aanager at KPMG, where he audited and advised numerous alternative investment funds as well as assisted in the structuring and planning of a number of life settlement funds.
Carlisle CEO Jose Garcia said that Heggelman has experience in the alternative finance industry and has been instrumental in the successful application of the company’s mark-to-market valuation methodology.
The fund management firm caters to the US secondary life insurance market known as life settlements and specializes in alternative asset strategy consulting and life settlement fund development.
The company is also a provider of alternative risk finance and secondary market insurance product consulting.
