BISA selects SmithBucklin as full service management partner

Bank Insurance & Securities Association (BISA) has selected SmithBucklin, an association management and professional services company, as its full-service association management partner.

BISA is an association for firms and financial professionals who wish to engage in providing integrated financial products and advisory services to both retail and business banking customers, including investments and insurance through depository institutions.

The new partnership with SmithBucklin moves BISA’s headquarters to Washington DC, from Wayne, Pennsylvania.

BISA’s objective is to support member firms and financial professionals within depository institutions by building a community and providing forums to enhance their professionalism, knowledge and productivity to help them best serve their clients with a broad array of financial solutions.

One of the first priorities for BISA’s board was selecting Jim McNeil as the organization’s new executive director. McNeil will lead BISA’s strategy and operations and manage the organization’s headquarters team.

McNeil previously served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for BAI, a membership-based association providing high-value information, education and research for the global financial services industry.

BISA president Marc Vosen said SmithBucklin’s extensive expertise in association management will help the association to continue to develop programs for members that provide them with the value they seek in order to succeed in the profession and be more successful in growing their respective businesses.

SmithBucklin is an association management and professional services company providing full-service management and outsourcing services to trade associations, professional societies, technology user groups, corporations, government institutes/agencies and other nonprofit organizations.
