To focus on aligning sales force, building sales consulting team and streamlining practices
Aon eSolutions, a provider of technology-based tools that improve the management of risk, insurance and safety programs, has appointed Don Ameche III as senior vice president of global sales and marketing.
In his new role, Ameche will be responsible for sales, sales operations, sales consulting, analyst relations and marketing on a global scale. His focus will be on aligning the sales forces, building a best-in-class sales consulting team and streamlining practices, while creating common go-to-market and deal strategies.
Most recently, Ameche served as area vice president of retail for North America at Oracle. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing with US Internetworking, where he was responsible for sales, sales operations, analyst relations, business development, sales engineering and channel partner and reseller relationships.
