Aon Risk Solutions, the risk management business of Aon Corporation, has hired Christof Bentele as the crisis management practice's chief broking officer effective immediately.
Bentele, who is currently global product leader for the practice’s recall and contamination solutions, will be responsible for the practice’s global broking strategy, key market relationships, broking excellence and execution, product development and innovation.
As part of his new role, Bentele will oversee all crisis management practice-related broking activities globally as well as in the firm’s London Global Broking Centre. He will retain responsibility as the global product leader for recall and contamination.
Bentele will continue to report to Paul Bassett, CEO of Aon Risk Solutions’ global crisis management practice and will be supported by Steve Dalchow, who has been appointed deputy CBO and head of special projects, and will continue to represent the crisis management practice on Aon’s global broking centre board.
Bassett said the appointments are a testament to the depth and breadth of expertise Aon delivers to their clients and insurers. I look forward to working with them in their new roles and welcome their continued success as they further strengthen their practice’s leadership team.
