The management of insurance giant Allianz and representatives of work officials have successfully reached an agreement on the planned implementation of corporate reorganization for all four of the company's service territories in Germany.
The agreement is an important milestone for the insurer in terms of its future. It outlines strategic rules concerning the future structures of the office-based area and defines the procedures to be followed in filling positions within the new organization.
The reorganization is anticipated to introduce a higher level of customer orientation to ensure sustained growth.
As planned, the implementation of the new operating model can begin punctually with the installation of a pilot project for the customer service telephone staff in Leipzig and the construction of a new mail processing center in Berlin, in the northeastern service territory, said Gerhard Rupprecht, CEO of Allianz Deutschland. Thus, works council and management have achieved another key milestone of the reorganization.
The negotiation has concluded with the production of 11 sub-agreements, which govern the basic conditions for implementing the new operating model in the specified area.
The reorganization is expected to be completed by the end of 2008.
