Affirmative deploys Mitchell’s physical damage claims service

US-based Affirmative Insurance Services has selected Mitchell International as the new provider of auto physical damage claims processing services to its customers.

As part of the multi-year agreement, the insurance company will deploy Mitchell’s WorkCenter assignment, appraisal, total loss, review and reporting services.

Affirmative Claims vice president Jim Hessburg said selection was based on comprehensive evaluation of a number of physical damage claims platforms.

"They demonstrated throughout the evaluation a consultative, flexible approach. We also felt Mitchell’s straightforward enterprise pricing provided the greatest overall value," Hessburg added.

Mitchell WorkCenter is a modular and end-to-end service capable of addressing all of the insurer’s physical damage claims processing requirements, including dispatch, appraisal, total loss, repair management, review and reporting.

Affirmative Insurance Services is a subsidiary of Affirmative Insurance Holdings, and manages its marketing, policy administration, claim and actuarial functions for certain insurance carriers.
