ACE Group has announced that Steven Zodtner has been appointed Senior Vice President, Property and Casualty and Micro-business for ACE Commercial Risk Services.

In this newly-created position, he will work closely with David Charlton, Division President, to lead ACE’s expansion efforts into the property and casualty package and the micro specialty lines market for select small businesses.

Mr. Charlton commented, "ACE’s expansion into the package and micro specialty lines represents the next step in the evolution and growth for ACE Commercial Risk Services. We’re pleased to continue building upon this growth by focusing our product portfolio across a wide range of package, standalone property and casualty, commercial and professional lines capabilities for our small commercial clients."

Mr. Charlton added, "ACE’s product diversification supports the unique and diverse insurance needs of each small business. Steve’s appointment reflects ACE’s further growth in this market, as we continue to build out our offerings to shape future product development in a way that best matches their needs."

Mr. Zodtner joins ACE with more than 30 years of business experience. He most recently served as Executive Vice President with a U.S.-based specialty insurance underwriting company, and held prior senior leadership positions with a global technology company, and a U.S.-based health care insurer. In addition, he also co-founded a niche consulting firm specializing in management consulting with director level officers of Fortune 500 companies on outsourcing strategies.

Mr. Zodtner is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Administration. He received his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) professional designations.
