Insurance group ACE has appointed Robert Wade and Hayley Dixon as two new environmental risk underwriters to its London-based Environmental Liability team.
Wade and Dixon will join Emma Bartolo, London and Southeast environmental risk manager, Chris Strong, regional environmental risk manager, and Tom Hillier, who manage the London corporate Casualty business as well as oversee ACE’s UK and Ireland environmental liability operations.
The two new underwriters will enhance ACE’s product offering, and strengthen the relationships with clients and brokers across the UK and Ireland.
The insurer said, together the team will be responsible for working with brokers to develop environmental liability programmes, bolstering the reputation ACE’s Environmental Liability team has cultivated for high standards of client service and comprehensive advice.
Prior to ACE, Wade served as an underwriter at Chartis Insurance environmental impairment liability department. He also worked as a senior environmental consultant within the Transactions and Compliance team at URS Corporation.
Dixon joins ACE from Conestoga-Rovers & Associates where she worked as an environmental consultant providing both scientific advice to clients as well as guidance on environmental legislation and standards. She also has four years of experience working as an environmental engineer at Golder Associates (UK).
