ACE appoints terrorism & political violence underwriter

Insurance group ACE has appointed Marie Biggas as terrorism & political violence underwriter for ACE Overseas General (AOG).

Biggas, who comes to ACE from Chaucer Syndicate, will be based in London and will report to Piers Gregory, terrorism underwriting manager for AOG.

Gregory said terrorism and political related risk is an international challenge and ACE is one of the few insurers to have a dedicated team networked throughout the world able to advise clients on the potential risks and the best ways to manage them.

"Marie comes to ACE with a range of related experience and contribution in the continued development of ACE’s Terrorism and Political Violence business," Gregory said.

ACE is engaged in the provision of a wide range of insurance and reinsurance products and services for property, liability, fire, casualty, marine, accident and health.

ACE Insurance also provides risk management and risk benchmarking programs to large corporations as well as small to medium businesses.
