Accenture introduces new Insurance Customer Insights Solution

Technology services and outsourcing firm Accenture has introduced a new integrated solution, Insurance Customer Insights Solution, allowing insurers to improve multi-channel cross-selling.


The new integrated solution is available in the cloud or on-premise and will provide insurers access to new distribution models, with management across multiple channels, including social media.

The new solution will offer a comprehensive view of product management, allowing insurers to define, design, modify and deploy products to help address a rapidly evolving market.

Accenture property and casualty insurance services managing director and North America policy services offering lead Cindy De Armond said: "As insurers strive to capitalize on opportunities afforded by access to the vast amounts of customer data available today, this new solution can help them quickly identify opportunities triggered by customer life events and deliver product recommendations."

The solution is said to use Accenture Duck Creek Policy as the core policy administration platform, which offers the flexible and extensible architecture that allows Pegasystems’ to incorporate its front-end omni-channel, digital and mobile distribution capabilities through the Duck Creek Anywhere functionality.

The combined solution will allow insurers to centralize product and policy management, helping them to take better underwriting decisions.

In addition, the solution will offer a comprehensive view of the customer and applies predictive analytics to identify product recommendations and provide those data-driven recommendations to users across multiple channels, including mobile, web and telephone.
