Our switchgear bushings are designed with an optimum voltage distribution for gas-insulated switchgears (GIS-Bushings) and air-insulated switchgears (wall bushings), even when there are fast voltage changes.
Gas-insulated switchgear bushings (GIS-Bushings)
These bushings are intended for use in SF6 and outdoor environments. We integrate inserts made of conducting aluminum foil during the winding process, thereby ensuring optimum voltage distribution even in the event of fast voltage changes.
Our oil-free switchgear bushings have a condenser graded active part made of resin-impregnated paper (RIP). They are available with dry filling or insulation with switchgear gas. Depending on the type of gas-insulated switchgear busing, the air side housing is made of silicone composite insulation or porcelain. The bushings also have an integrated adapter flange that is customized to each customer
These bushings are designed for rated voltages of 73 to 550 kV and rated currents up to 4000 A.
Air-insulated switchgear bushings (Wall busings)
Our wall bushings are made for indoor and outdoor application in order to lead the electrical current through walls.
The bushings are oil-free and have a solid active part made of resin impregnated paper (RIP) or oil impregnated paper (OIP).
The air side housing is made of either porcelain or silicone composite insulators – on both sides or one side. If necessary, the bushings are clad with a silicone rubber casing, allowing them to be used in moist indoor spaces without additional protection.
These bushings are designed for rated voltages of 52 to 8000 kV and rated currents up to 4000 A.
