COSWEET™: Deep COS Removal From Natural Gas

Process Principle
•COS destruction by catalytic hydrolysis at moderate temperature in gas phase
•Hydrolysis reactor integrated with the amine absorber
•Partially sweetened gas is sent to hydrolysis reactor
•Almost complete COS destruction on proprietary catalyst
•After COS destruction, gas is sent back to amine absorber for H2S (and CO2 if needed) polishing
