Renewable Energy Systems renewable power capacity surpasses 8,000MW

UK-based renewable energy project developer Renewable Energy Systems (RES) has announced that its construction portfolio across the world had reached 8,000MW.

The sales across the world have increased by 352% over the last six years, while 80% of which are from North America.

Currently, RES has 120 individual wind power facilities across the world.

Commenting on the achievement, RES chief executive officer Ian Mays said the company has achieved a key milestone in the wind power generation, as it had entered into correct markets and continuing to develop innovative renewable technology.

"Moving forward, it is RES’ mission to be a leader in this age of disruptive technology change, driving the vital energy transition by providing a diverse and growing range of energy and infrastructure projects and services that will be key to creating a low carbon future," added Mays.

Meanwhile, RES has recently seen expansion into Turkey and South Africa.
