Political instability to blame as Enron stalls Bosnian projects

US, Texas-based Enron has postponed the signing of several energy projects in Bosnia due to political instability in the region. The projects were to be undertaken with Bosnian power company, Elekroprivreda HZ Herceg-Bosna, and with metal industry company Soko, for the construction of two hydroelectric power plants and one thermal power plant. The projects are estimated to cost several hundred million dollars.
