UK-based Circor has added the 7188 ball valve to its Flomite 71 series of two-way integral panel mount valves which feature a floating ball design, encapsulated seats and check seals which ensure extended leak-tight cycle life.

Circor claims that the valve can withstand temperatures from -29°C to +249°C and handle corrosive and viscous fluids in a wide range of applications. The valves are also pressure rated to 2000psig and are available in 316 stainless steel and other materials on request. According to Circor, the floating ball provides pressure-assisted sealing plus temperature and wear compensation, while the patented ‘Dyna-Pak’ packing gives a leak-tight seal with low torque under vacuum or high pressure.
