Disruption for Malaysian water supplies

Water supplies to be disrupted in parts of Malaysia for reservoir cleaning on 9 April

Residents in parts of Melakah and Alor Gajah districts in Malaysia will have their water supply disrupted on 9 April to allow the Malacca Water Corporation (MWC) to clean its reservoirs and perform piping and electrical works.

The work will involve the replacement of two water pumps and 6.6kW switchgear at Bertam water treatment plant, while the Bukit Sebukor plant will be closed for cleaning.
