Big names in renewables gather at UK meeting

Renewable energy experts and government representatives will meet at the inaugural Renewable Power Delivery, part of Sustainable Energy & Energy Efficiency (22-24 October, Olympia, London) to be held by the UK's Renewable Power Association.

Energy Minister Brian Wilson and John Mogford, BP’s group vice president, renewables and alternatives, will give keynote speeches, while radio presenter John Humphrys and Baroness Young of the Environment Agency will host the event.

Leaders in UK sustainable energy will address the conference, including Jeremy Eppel, director of Sustainable Energy Policy Division, DEFRA, chief executive of the Renewable Power Association, David Byers, and British Energy’s head of strategy Andrew Murfin.
