Marathon Capital announced that funds managed by Argo Infrastructure Partners invested in a 114 MW portfolio of commercial & industrial (C&I) solar assets under long-term PPAs.
The portfolio, which is diversified across 134 sites in 12 states and entered into operations between 2015 and 2018, was constructed, financed and will continue to be managed by Onyx Renewable Partners L.P., a leading, vertically integrated developer, owner and operator of C&I and utility-scale renewable and storage assets.
Marathon Capital worked with Argo on its due diligence and financing of the investment.
“We appreciate the efforts of Matt Bigham, Director at Marathon Capital, and the Marathon team and look forward to expanding this initial portfolio with additional investments in C&I solar projects,” said Aaron Gold, Managing Director at Argo.
“It was a pleasure to support Argo, lending our experience with contracted commercial and industrial solar assets in the United States. We are excited to see a substantial initial investment in C&I solar by Argo, a long-term infrastructure investment manager,” said Terry Grant, Managing Partner at Marathon Capital.
