Wells Fargo redesigns ATM for customized services

US-based banking firm Wells Fargo & Company has launched a fully new ATM, which the company claims to be able to offer more bespoke services easily.

Developed with a modern layout and a sleek design, the new ATM is loaded with new features to offer enhanced customer experience, claims the bank.

The lender has installed over 500 machines across several states and is planning to deploy at more than 12,000 Wells Fargo ATMs by May 2013.

Commenting on the implementation of the new ATM, Wells Fargo ATM banking head Alicia Moore said, "We redesigned our ATMs based on what customers tell us they want, and we’re constantly striving to make our ATMs quicker, easier, and more convenient."

It can customize the screens based on customer’s preferences as well as a "Balance Dashboard" features balances at-a-glance, if the customer selects, for their most used accounts.

Additional feature is ATM Cash Tracker, a tool that assist customers manage their finances by tracking their monthly Wells Fargo ATM withdrawals, will now automatically appear on the main ATM screen.

Fixing a monthly withdrawal limit, the customers can also check details about how much they withdrew the previous month and their average over the past 12 months.

Established in 1852 and headquartered in San Francisco, Wells Fargo has $1.4 trillion in assets and delivers banking, insurance, investments, mortgage, and consumer and commercial finance through more than 9,000 stores, 12,000 ATMs, and the Internet.
