Washington Trust, a subsidiary of Rhode Island-based Washington Trust Bancorp, has opened the Home Loan Center, a mortgage loan production office located just outside of Connecticut.
The new office has a team of eight employees, led by Steven Veronesi.
The mortgage team of the new office originates residential loans, including fixed rate, variable rate, construction loans, jumbo mortgages, reverse mortgages, as well as home equity loans and lines of credit, to borrowers throughout the Greater Hartford area.
James Gueltzow, vice president and Connecticut regional manager, is responsible for expanding Washington Trust’s residential lending presence in Connecticut.
Steven Veronesi, vice president and Connecticut area manager, is responsible for managing and developing the Glastonbury office as well as originating mortgage loans.
Washington Trust executive vice president of retail lending Stephen Bessette said that they are looking forward to helping Connecticut homeowners with their borrowing needs.
