Online payment company Skrill has named Neil Steinhardt, managing director of paysafecard.com USA, as the CEO of its US operations, in a bid to fuel business development in the fast growing North American market.
The payment firm said that Steinhardt possesses adequate payment processing experience including the skills and capabilities gained during opening of the US market for Vienna-based paysafecard.
He has held various senior and management positions including vice president of product & services for Via One and VP of product management at IPP of America.
In his new role, he will spearhead the management and continued growth strategy of Skrill and paysafecard US, which has 50,000 distribution outlets in the country.
Steinhardt will also be accountable to take necessary steps to prove that Skrill’s acquisition of paysafecard is successful for all parties by shaping the development of e-wallets in the country.
Having a centralized management in New York, he will also ensure successful integration of both enterprises, while guiding the strategic direction of both companies and further developing its go-to-market model.
Skrill offers digital wallet to 30 million account holders, which permits a customer to execute online payments easily and safely as well as send and receive money online cost-effectively.
