Vietnam based Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) has decided to implement Infosys' e-banking & mobile banking platform Finacle, to meet the internet banking needs of 2 million customers by 2016.

The lender will deploy Finacle’s consumer e-banking, corporate e-banking and mobile banking technologies, which will allow it to build latest internet banking products and services quickly, thus improving customer satisfaction.

Additionally, it will boost customer loyalty through personalization capabilities, latest security features and intelligent customer insights, which will drive the adoption of online banking.

The new technology will allow Sacombank customers to use advanced online functions and services including personal financial management, liquidity management and online L/C.

Following the e-banking system upgrade scheduled in December 2013, the corporate customers can submit their payment orders through mobile phone.

The aforesaid facilities will be in addition to the current internet and mobile phones based services including intra-bank and bank-to-bank transfers, utility bill payments, term deposit purchase, and airlines ticket purchase.

Founded in 1991, Sacombank manages 416 transaction points, including seven transaction points in Cambodia and Laos, as of 30 September 2012.
