eBay payment processing startup PayPal is planning to roll out its latest mobile payment service, PayPal Here, in a bid to offer a convenient and secure payment channel to small businesses across Europe.
Initially the Chip & PIN version of the new service will be launched in the UK, while deployment in other parts of Europe will take place at a later stage, according to the company.
Developed considering the requirements of small businesses in the countries, which use Chip and PIN debit and credit cards to accept and provide digital payments, the new service enables users to accept card payments anywhere at any time.
The application can be downloaded from Internet and is equipped with a ‘click to call us’ button so that its customer service team can respond in one click in case help is needed, the payment company said.
PayPal service enables people to send money without sharing financial information, with the flexibility to pay using their account balances, bank accounts, credit cards or promotional financing.
