Pacific Crest Securities announces management changes

Pacific Crest Securities has appointed Michael O'Hare and Christopher Hieb to lead its growing mergers and acquisitions team.

Mr O’Hare, who most recently was the head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) at Oppenheimer & Company, has become the managing director and the head of Pacific Crest’s global M&A group. He is based in Pacific Crest’s new office in New York.

Mr Hieb most recently led Oppenheimer’s west coast M&A efforts and is now a managing director and the head of west coast M&A for Pacific Crest. He is based in San Francisco.

With 17 years of investment banking experience, Mr O’Hare specializes in network, system and application management software and has experience in other high-technology sectors. Mr Hieb has more than 18 years of investment banking, consulting, project management and operations experience with high-technology companies.
