GXS, a provider of B2B integration services, has been added as a new member of the NACHA Global Payments Forum (GPF), to contribute to strategic international payments initiatives.
Commenting on the agreement, GXS financial services industry marketing director Patricia Hines said, "With mobile payments, SEPA compliance, data security, alternative payments and payments innovation, international payments continue to grow in complexity."
The collaboration will enable the company to exchange information with banks, central banks, corporations and other technology providers to contribute to strategic international payments initiatives, Hines added.
Information sharing regarding the recent development electronic payments sector enables members to influence the development, amendment, and approval of changes to the global and payment operating rules.
NACHA operates as an electronic payments association that manages the development, administration, and governance of the US ACH Network and it represents more than 10,000 financial institutions through 17 regional payments associations and direct membership.
GXS manages one of largest integration cloud, GXS Trading Grid, and assists over 550,000 businesses, extend their partner networks, automate receiving processes, manage electronic payments, and improve supply chain visibility.
