Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) has rolled out Global Mortgage Securities Fund, which invests in a portfolio of mortgages and securitized debt instruments issued by government agencies and private institutions.
The new fund uses a steady, thematic, targeted bottom-up investment approach that combines global macro fundamental analysis, thorough research and analysis of industry trends to create a diversified portfolio of securitized instruments.
MSIM long-only business head Arthur Lev said, "The Global Mortgage Securities fund leverages the extensive market experience of investment professionals within the Long-Only business to help clients achieve their investment goals."
In order to recognize possible value opportunities in all areas of the securitized market, MSIM’s Global Mortgage research teams check thoroughly and create a balanced portfolio on three key stages including value identification, implementation and evaluation.
US-based Morgan Stanley delivers investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services through more than 1,200 offices in 43 nations across the globe.
