Mohave State Bank appoints new EVP and chief credit officer

Mohave State Bank has appointed Brad Payne as its new executive vice president and chief credit officer. Mr Payne will be working at the bank's main branch located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, US.

Mr Payne has 22 years of banking experience in commercial lending and has extensive experience in bank management. Until recently, he was division president at the Bank of the Ozarks, Arkansas, for three years, where he was responsible for the entire lending portfolio for the division totaling $160 million.

Prior to joining Bank of the Ozarks, Mr Payne was executive vice president at Regions Bank, Arkansas, where he was head of lending with an approximate portfolio of $180 million, and managed a staff of 41, including three branches.

Ralph Tapscott, president and CEO, said: I’m extremely encouraged by Brad’s level of enthusiasm for his new home and company. Brad’s credentials will help us achieve our strategic objectives.
