Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (US) has appointed William (Bill) Mansfield as the chief executive officer (CEO) effective from 12 April, in a bid to manage the next phase of the business development in the country.
Apart from being a member of the International Management Committee of Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Holdings, Bill will also chair the MUS (USA) Management Committee and sit on the Board of MUS (US) in his new role.
He will report to Cliff De Souza, head of International Business, MUSHD.
Prior to joining Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (US), Bill was working with Rabobank International, as the head of global financial markets (GFM) Americas and CEO of Rabo Securities US.
Managing a sales, trading and capital markets team across the American continent, he also served as a member of the global management team for GFM and a member of the North American management team for Rabobank International.
With 30 years of experience in the multi-national financial institutions, he has also worked with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Nomura Securities and Credit Lyonnais.
