Method to adopt b-next’s automated market surveillance technology

Method Investments & Advisory, a London based independent investment firm, has decided to deploy b-next’s Market Abuse module of the CMC:Suite, for fixed income automated market surveillance.

Capable of monitoring entire daily order and execution flow of Method, the new technology will carry out analysis for a key set of market abuse situations including spoofing and wash trading.

Performing the analysis across all asset classes traded by Method, it will provide the company’s compliance team with a universal surveillance system that can be centrally managed.

Commenting on the technology adoption, Method Investments & Advisory director Marco Borsa said that the company has chosen b-next’s Market Abuse module of the CMC:Suite, to further enhance its market conduct controls.

The technology will enable the investment firm to automatically monitor its trading activity and immediately report any suspicious trading behavior at both on and off exchange.

The b-next capital markets compliance (CMC) technology is a single integrated compliance platform for detection of market abuse, insider trading, conflict of interest, derivatives/OTC monitoring, best execution reporting among others.

Method Investments & Advisory delivers market making and execution services on behalf of clients on a continuous basis, specializing in Eurobond fixed income products of all currencies.
