Interactive Brokers Group (IBKR) has unveiled its IB Money Manager Marketplace, which is claimed to be the first complete electronic forum designed to connect wealth managers and money managers.
Using the new platform, wealth management advisors can connect with money managers and can access information pertaining to trading equities, options, futures, forex, and bonds locally or across global markets.
Market participants can also avail its trading platform Trader Workstation (TWS), and trade execution strategies across multiple asset classes, claims IBKR.
Additionally, money managers can promote their trading expertise in order to gain a large group of potential new clients.
IBKR business development and marketing executive vice president Steve Sanders said the new program reduces search costs for wealth managers looking for trading expertise for client accounts, and helps money managers to get access of global markets.
The company together with its subsidiaries operates as a brokerage firm and provides electronic access to stocks, options, futures, forex, bonds and mutual funds from a single IB Universal Account.
