Most recently, Mr Capitman served as a managing director at The Bank of New York, in the Merchant Banking Group, where he held senior coverage responsibility for private equity firms, as well as national corporate and middle-market clients. Earlier, he served as a managing director and head of corporate finance at Fieldstone.

Mr Capitman graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Economics, and received a Master of Arts degree in economics, with honors, from the University of Miami Graduate School of Business and Economics.

Steve Burt, head of the mergers and acquisition and transaction opinions practice at Duff & Phelps, said: We are really pleased to have Andrew join our team. He’s advised on deals of every size and every situation, and he adds further depth to our bench of talent. We expect that he will take a very active role in contributing to our market position as a leading advisor to middle market companies.
