Dresdner Bank appoints new chief risk officer

Dresdner Bank has appointed Thomas Wilson as its new chief risk officer, effective June 1, 2008.

Mr Wilson succeeds Otto Steinmetz, who will step down from his position on the board of managing directors when his contract expires at the end of May 2008.

In his capacity as chief risk officer, Mr Wilson will report to Herbert Walter, chairman of the board of managing directors of the bank.

Mr Wilson will remain chief risk officer at Allianz, a position that he has held since January 1, 2008. Since 2001, Dresdner Bank has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Allianz Group.
