Commidea opens new office in Ireland

Payment processing company Commidea has opened a new office in Dublin, Ireland.

The new operation will consist of a sales team headed up by Mark Mooney and Freddie Graham and will be fully integrated with the operational, customer service and development teams based at Commidea’s UK headquarters in Ashford, Kentucky.

Commidea managing director Ian Rutland said Commidea has a great team on board to support our growing Irish customer base and to help us take advantage of the great opportunities in the market.

"They have a detailed knowledge of Ireland’s retail payments market and a great focus on customer service," Rutland said.

"This new development is another key component in Commidea and Point’s strategic growth plans for Europe."

Commidea is part of the Point International Group of companies. Point is the European provider of electronic payment solutions and supports over 300,000 customers in the Nordic, Baltics and the UK through the provision of secure card payment solutions.
