Cole Taylor Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Taylor Capital Group, has appointed Lawrence Ryan as executive vice president of commercial banking.
Mr Ryan is a 27-year veteran of LaSalle Bank, where he focused on developing the market for financing the needs of closely held businesses. He played a leadership role in building the Metropolitan Banking Group of LaSalle Bank, a business banking unit that served companies with sales between $10 million and $50 million, where he was group senior vice president.
Since early 2008, Mr Ryan served as business banking market executive in Chicago for Bank of America.
