Financial services provider Citizens Republic Bancorp has extended its contract with AT&T for network and conferencing services for the next five years.
AT&T will migrate all Citizens locations onto its Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)-backed network. The new network services will create a single connection for all the Citizens locations that are managed and maintained by AT&T. The services will also provide optimized network performance while positioning Citizens for future voice and video-transmission technology.
Jerry Bettens, chief information officer of Citizens Republic Bancorp, said: AT&T’s solution allows us to serve our clients with the efficiency and ease of one of the most reliable networks while controlling our voice and data service costs.
