Citi Names New Head Of Canadian Global Transaction Services Business

Citi has appointed John Landry as head of global transaction services business in Canada. In this role, Mr Landry will report to Julie Monaco, head of global transaction services North America and to John Hastings, managing director and head of Citi's institutional clients group in Canada.

Global Transaction Services (GTS) offers integrated cash management, trade and securities and fund services to top-tier domestic and multinational corporations, financial institutions and public sector organizations around the world.

Mr Landry comes to Canada after heading Citi’s treasury and trade solutions business in Australia and New Zealand since 2005. He joined Citi in 2001 and has also held management positions with Wachovia and GE Card Services.

Mr Hastings said: “Mr Landry’s appointment highlights our commitment to the Canadian marketplace, where we see tremendous opportunity for expansion and innovation for our GTS business.”

Mr Landry said: “Citi’s Canadian GTS business has been building its relationships and capabilities for 60 years.
