Chicago based BMO Harris Bank has opened a new Commercial Banking office in Omaha, Nebraska, and appointed Kevin Munro to focus on mid-market and mid-corporate opportunities in Nebraska, Colorado and Iowa.
BMO Harris Bank Commercial Banking executive vice president and head Dave Casper said, "Businesses in Omaha and the surrounding area are looking for a bank that has the capabilities and the local market knowledge to meet their financial needs."
"Kevin has a wealth of Commercial Banking experience, he’s extremely well known in the community and he is intensely focused on providing an exceptional customer experience."
Omaha and the surrounding area have a relatively low unemployment and business-friendly environment, which the bank expects will provide an early priority for Munro to hire local talent and build a Commercial Banking team.
With more than 20 years of Commercial, Business Banking and Private Banking experience, Kevin Munro has spent his last 13 years at US Bank, and most recently as Omaha Market president responsible for managing a Commercial Banking portfolio with total credit commitments of over $1bn.
Kevin is a board member of both the Omaha Chamber of Commerce and the Nebraska Bankers Association.
BMO Harris Bank provides a broad range of personal banking products and solutions through over 650 branches and nearly 1,350 ATMs in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Nevada, Arizona and Florida.
