Switzerland based private banking firm Banque Morval has deployed SunGard’s Ambit Private Banking system as its new core banking platform, which will enable the lender to boost operational efficiency and client focus.
Designed to offer customer information on a single platform, the new system allows the bank to offer more services for a better customer experience.
Implementation of the Ambit core banking technology in its offshore operations is currently in progress, which will help the bank to increase efficiency, reduce costs, lower risk and enhance performance.
Various components of the technology includes core banking, client information management, to develop targeted client services, with data confidentiality; and eBanking, which offers a fully combined internet banking service.
SunGard’s Ambit Private Banking business unit chief operating officer Daniel Bardini said that in the time of new privacy and fiscal requirements, the core banking system will help Banque Morval more effectively support its customer focused business agenda.
Established in 1974 and formerly known as Morval & Cie, the bank offers portfolio management, company and trust and external advisory services.
SunGard employs over 17,000 staffs and serves approximately 25,000 customers in more than 70 countries, globally.
