Bank of Scotland expands regional business banking network

Bank of Scotland is set to open three new business banking offices, in Tralee, Newbridge and Wexford, which will provide business banking services to businesses in Kerry, Kildare, Wexford and the surrounding areas.

The main aim of the new business banking hubs is to expand the national footprint of Bank of Scotland (Ireland), get closer to its existing customers, and attract new local business.

Each new Bank of Scotland (Ireland) office will be headed up by a business development manager, who will be responsible for commercial, property and business banking for the area. The hubs will operate in tandem with the bank’s regional offices in Waterford and Cork and the head office in Dublin.

Paul Cunningham, head of banking at Bank of Scotland (Ireland), said: The new offices in Tralee, Newbridge and Wexford mark continuous and steady growth in our development at a regional level. The opening of these three new offices has formed part of the rollout of a number of new business hubs across the country.
