Bank of Ireland has announced a E5 million investment to upgrade its online banking service, 365 online.
Bank of Ireland says its 365 service has seen dramatic growth over the last four years, with the number of online customers increasing by 88% to 530,000.
The number of unique logins has now reached 17 million per annum, while the number of bill payments and money transfers online has increased by 128% in the same period to over four million per annum.
The re-designed website will include features that let customers register and view accounts, view and cancel direct debits, schedule future payment dates and view payments pending.
Additional services include international payments, standing orders and mobile phone top-ups.
With our improved online banking service, more and more customers can manage their day-to-day banking needs in the comfort of their own homes, giving them more free time and saving them hassle, said Mary Dillon, head of group contact centre, BoI.
