Bank of America names country executive in Australia

Bank of America has appointed Thomas Pascarella as the bank's country executive for Australia, reporting to Colm McCarthy, president of Asia.

Mr Pascarella’s responsibilities include growing and deepening the bank’s relationships with its multinational and Australian clients, through support of their domestic and international requirements for credit, debt capital raising, transactional services and risk management.

Mr Pascarella, who joined Bank of America in 2002, served as a senior corporate finance officer in Australia where he originated and structured transactions, as well as advised on credit risk, debt markets and corporate restructuring.

Mr Pascarella holds a bachelors degree in political economy from Princeton University and completed an executive MBA program at the University of Oxford.

Mr McCarthy said: We have been investing in our Australia business and are pleased with the growth that we have seen, especially in recent years. Tom brings with him the right mix of skills and experience to ensure that we maintain our focus on continuing to provide superior service, commitment and value to our target clients.
