IBM Storwize V7000, which is a higher-performance storage infrastructure, has been deployed by the bank to boost access to critical business information, claims the global technology company.

Selected against HP, Cisco and EMC solutions, the new solution will also assist the lender in centralizing and simplifying management, and increase capacity through virtualization technologies.

Commenting on the technology selection, International Bank of Azerbaijan IT director Yalcin Taghizadeh said the IBM Storwize V7000 was preferred due to its ability to reliably and securely handle flow of information.
